H2SE in Deepwater Drilling Operations
Summary
Oil and Gas Drilling Operations are accounting for a high rate of critical incidents compared to other domains in the petroleum industry, working in extreme operating conditions is one of the principal reason for accident to occur but not only. The intersecting, continuous and complex characters of drilling operations determine the variety of risks. Some of these associated risks are extremely difficult to control, as a kick inside the well not properly controlled can escalate to blowout which can lead to devastating consequences.
80% of the Upstream industry activity is operated offshore: Drilling Operations go farer and deeper in the search of new resources. The technological, logistical and HSE barriers put the industry in front of strong challenges this training will address.
Technology changes allow to work in harsher environment Risk identification and analysis are tools used for developing strategies which prevent accidents and for defining mitigation measures regarding Rig equipment, Safety engineering, HSE organizational Management system and Environmental Management Plan.
The purpose of the course is to visit all aspects regarding HSE in deepwater Drilling Operations: Best Practices, Personnel and Training, Working Procedures, Engineering, Equipment standards with Certification and Organization Management and to address a full picture of what is the Drilling environment and process.
It uses a very practical and interactive method for identifying all risks related to drilling operations (module 2) actively involving the participants in their learning.
Audience
Any Superintendents, Supervisors and Technicians involved in the Safety of Drilling Operations. This course is also a necessary refresher for drillers who are daily exposed to the specific Risks of the Rig environment.
Deliverables
Upon completion of this course, the attendants will have a complete view of what are the best practices to ensure high HSSE Standard during Deep-Water Drilling Operations. All aspects are reviewed: Personnel behavior, Equipment standards, Emergency and Environmental Plans and Procedures, Certification, Training and Management Organization.
Certificate
This course will be opened and closed by an on-line evaluation allowing Instructor and Participants to evaluate the knowledge acquisition.
Adinergy is using the on-line evaluation platform Evalbox.
A Certificate of attendance will be remitted upon completion of Training and Evaluation.
