Packing vs Packaging in International Freight Forwarding

Packing should be seen as an integral part of any international transaction, with variables such as legal, commercial, carriage, environmental, marketing and physical all taken into consideration.

Any packing has to be constructed to facilitate handling, protect against the inherent risks in transit and delivery, while offering protection from the environment and unauthorized access.

The final destination, storage and usage must always be taken into consideration when defining the packing of the Goods at time of the Purchase Order issuance.
