Energy Today

  • Duration in hours: 3x4h
  • Module level: Foundation
1200 €

Overview:
Energy sector is in deep upheaval nowadays with the absolute necessity to replace fossil energies by decarbonized energies. It seems the acceleration of climate change and its consequences does not leave humanity other options than going fast.
It is an unprecedent challenge for all sectors of activity. It questions the economic models the modern age has based its development on.
We know, for sure, that getting rid of natural resources, relatively affordable, abundant will be a huge and, still, under-estimated cost.
The "Energy Today" course offers an in-depth exploration of the contemporary energy landscape, focusing on the sources, technologies, challenges, and opportunities that shape our world's energy systems.
From fossil fuels to renewables, this course provides a comprehensive overview of the various forms of energy, their environmental impact and the innovations driving the transition towards a more sustainable energy future.
This course intends to give an overall view of the options present on the table today and their stage of advancement to become efficient, economical, sustainable and safe sources of energy.

Audience:
Any person interested by the energy sector.

Delivrables:
By the end of the course, Participants will be able to:
-    Analyze and evaluate different energy sources and their impact on the environment.
-    Understand the complexities of energy systems, distribution, and storage.
-    Identify emerging technologies driving the energy transition.
-    Advocate for sustainable energy practices and informed decision-making.

Certificate:
This course will be opened and closed by an on-line evaluation allowing Instructor and Participants to evaluate the knowledge acquisition.
Adinergy is using the on-line evaluation platform Evalbox.
A Certificate of attendance will be remitted upon completion of Training and Evaluation.
